Cerpangha Field Tech (Android package com.cerpangha.fieldtech) is an internal app used only by employees of Cerpangha Commercial Group / Cerpangha LLC, 600 E Broad St, Texarkana, AR 71854 ("Cerpangha", "we"). It lets our service technicians view and update their assigned service calls. It is not offered to the general public.

Information the app collects

• Work email for sign-in. You sign in with your company @cerpangha.com email address. We use it to verify that you are a Cerpangha employee and to show you your own service calls.
• Device location. When you open the app, it sends your device's location to Cerpangha so dispatch can see where technicians are and assign calls. If you turn on location sharing in the app's settings, the app also shares your location in the background during your configured work hours (about every 5 minutes, with an ongoing notification). Background sharing is off by default and you can turn it off at any time.
• Photos and camera. If you choose to take or attach photos (for example equipment data tags, parts or completed work), those photos are uploaded to the service call they belong to.
• Customer signatures. When a customer signs an invoice or parts request on your device, the signature and the signer's printed name are stored with that service call.
• Push notification token. The app registers with Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to receive new-call notifications. The device token is sent to Cerpangha so we can send you those notifications.
• Service records you enter. Notes, statuses, parts, labor and equipment details you enter are saved to Cerpangha's service-management system.

How we use it

We use this information only to run Cerpangha's field-service operations: dispatching and tracking service calls, invoicing customers, ordering parts, keeping equipment and warranty records, and notifying technicians of new calls.

Storage and sharing

Data is stored on Cerpangha's company servers and service-management system. Push notifications are delivered through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, and sign-in is protected by our identity provider (Cloudflare Access). We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing. Information may be shared with a customer or manufacturer only as needed for the service call (for example an invoice or warranty claim), or when required by law.

Retention

Service-call records, photos and signatures are kept as part of Cerpangha's business records. Location history is kept only as long as it is needed for dispatch and operational records.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke location, camera and notification permissions in Android settings, and turn background location sharing off in the app. Some features (for example new-call alerts or showing your position to dispatch) will not work without them.
